Formalin-fixed paraffin embedded tissue, bone marrow, neoplastic blood
Specimen Requirements
Fresh tissue collected in RPMI, formalin-fixed paraffin embedded tissue, bone marrow or peripheral blood collected in sodium heparin (green topped) tube
Storage Requirements
Store specimens at room temperature (15 to 30°C) until transported, adding a cold (refrigerator) pack during the summer months.
Causes for Rejections
Decalcified tissues are not accepted.
