Storage Requirements
Room Temperature.
Specimens are stable if stored at room temperature for 72 hours.

Methodology
Real Time PCR followed by Kirby-Bauer susceptibility testing
Limitations
  • Test results may be affected by improper/inadequate specimen collection or expired transport media.
  • Testing must be performed within 72 hours of collection if susceptibility testing is requested.
