Submit a minimum of 3.0 mL of whole blood – send this in a separate tube if other tests are ordered.
If Factor V Leiden is also ordered, a single tube may be submitted for both tests.
Storage Requirements
Store specimens at room temperature (15-30°C) until transported. DO NOT freeze.
