Description
Includes assessment of fetal sex. Intended for singleton pregnancies from 10 weeks gestation to term.
Detection of all chromosome aneuploidies, including Down syndrome (trisomy 21), Edwards syndrome (trisomy 18), and Patau syndrome (trisomy 13), as well as sex chromosome aneuploidies – Turner syndrome (monosomy X), Klinefelter syndrome (XXY), Jacobs syndrome (XYY), trisomy X syndrome (XXX), and microdeletion syndromes – 1p36 deletion, 4p-(Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome), 5p-(cri-du-chat syndrome), 15q11 (Prader-Willi syndrome/Angelman syndrome), and 22q11 deletion (DiGeorge).

Streck cell-free DNA collection tube
Specimen Collection
Fill cfDNA tubes to capacity and invert 8-10 times to mix.
Storage Requirements
Refrigerated.
Specimens are stable if refrigerated for 5 days.
Causes for Rejections
Specimens with the following conditions are not accepted:
  • submitted in tubes other than Streck cell-free DNA collection tubes
  • frozen
